The FBI released a free iPhone app called "Child ID" that offers to store information about children, which police can then reference in case of kidnapping. The app "provides a convenient place to electronically store photos and vital information about your children so that it's literally right at hand if you need it," according to an FBI press release.People can even save such information as height and weight, in case police would ever need it to help search for them. The app offers a special tab as well so parents can instantly email authorities all the stored information with only a few clicks.
